Tom was a partner of KPMG for ten years, specialising in turnaround management and corporate recovery. He built an outstanding reputation in the Waikato / Bay of Plenty region, testimony to his performance is that he developed the largest client portfolio in the practice. From 1997, Tom spent six years as CEO of Matrix Corporation and GM Business Development of Guardian Healthcare (now BUPA). Under Tom’s stewardship, the Matrix/Guardian businesses grew significantly, in terms of both size and profitability.

From 2002 until 2007, Tom was founder and Managing Director of Radius Health Group. Radius comprised medical centres, pharmacies rest homes and retirement villages, and home security services throughout New Zealand. In the five years led by Tom, Radius grew from start-up to be New Zealand’s largest business in the market segments in which it operated, with turnover in excess of $200 million and 2,500 staff.

More recently, Tom has led a major post-harvest operator in the kiwifruit industry through a business turnaround phase then into a merger with another company to form the largest operator in that industry. In addition, he has just completed a recapitalisation and partial turnaround of a business operating in the interior joinery and construction sector in New Zealand and Australia.

Tom presently serves as a director of several companies, and has held directorships of both privately-held and publicly-listed companies.

Paul joined Time Capital in 2010 after a number of years operating his own corporate advisory business. In this business he provided ‘virtual CFO’ services and also acted as advisor in the sectors of business recovery and turnaround, governance, performing a number of major assignments as Chief Financial Officer or General Manager of significant New Zealand corporates, including Zespri, Metlifecare and Pacific Retail Group. Paul has turned around or guided a number of major NZ companies through extremely challenging periods, in New Zealand, Australia, the UK and mainland Europe. These include;

• lead role in the controlled closure of Powerhouse in the UK (130 stores) and negotiations with affected suppliers and financial institutions
• establishment of the transfer pricing and tax structure for Frucor Beverages in the UK and Europe
• CFO of the Timber Management Company, established to manage the 189,000 hectare Kaingaroa forest estate in New Zealand’s Central North Island and enable its sale.

A member of the Institute of Directors, Paul presently serves as a director of several companies and has held directorships of both privately-held and publicly-listed companies.

Will's career has focussed on direct on farm consultancy for over thirty years. His reputation in the New Zealand agriculture industry is well established and highly respected by industry groups. Over the years Will has:

• Established and operated one of New Zealand’s largest beef finishing operations (32,000 head of cattle)
• Assisted New Zealand best practice development through agriculture graduate direct training, Massey University lecturing, and specific lamb and beef monitoring programmes
• A previous member of one of New Zealand’s leading banks for direct agribusiness investment (debt and equity)
• Lead advisor and consultant to large farming businesses and the fast developing Maori farm investment programmes

Will serves as a director on a number of agribusiness companies, a trustee to some long established family agribusinesses. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, as the founding Chairman for the Bay of Plenty branch and served on the Institute of Directors National council.
